Brief, pithy and to the point - I’ve been up to my earlobes creating my Income Fitness Forums and now can finally offer the following to my community members!
If you have an affiliate marketing blog that showcases great resources/information (read: you’re not reposting canned articles with zero of your own input), you can have your blog posts show up like this (and it includes deep links back to your specific articles):

Video Assassin Countdown - Make Money with YouTube Videos
Have you ever had an insane urge to make money with YouTube videos?
If so, I just learned on April 14th, the Video Assassin program will be launched!

2 Tier vs. 1 Tier Affiliate Marketing programs
Being paid for every sale is wonderful!
That’s what a 1st tier affiliate program/level is. Some visits an affiliate site from your link, sees something so magnificent the urge to buy is unavoidable, and whomp! It’s a great commission for you.
Being paid for every sale that someone else has caused to happen is even better!
That’s what a 2 Tier affiliate program is. Someone signs up as an affiliate from your link. That person makes a sale. They get the 1st tier commission, and you get a 2nd tier commission to boot. With no effort on your part, I might add!
Two-tier affiliate programs very very useful indeed, and should be something you really want to incorporate into your own niche affiliate marketing.
But now an opportunity for increased frustration is arrowing directly at your head. If you want 2-tier affiliate commissions to flow in, generally it’s helpful if you educate your subaffiliates as to the best way to market. After all, not everyone knows the difference between promoting a PRODUCT and promoting the AFFILIATE PROGRAM for that product. Believe you me…they’re two totally different beasties indeed.
Don’t get me wrong - 1 tier affiliate products can be mighty fine indeed! But let’s say that you have, oh, a dating site (let’s pick one of the most popular online topics). You can choose to market to two different segments:
- People looking to date online
and
- People looking to make money by showing others how to date online
Two different interests…but both can be handled adroitly by your site. It’s all in how you choose to present the opportunities.
Two of my favorite 2-tier affiliate programs are:
- Ken Evoy’s Site Sell program - it’s been around for over a decade and has a well-deserved reputation as one of the best how-tos for business online.
- aWeber - the ultimate in Autoresponders (if you don’t have your own autoresponder, you’re not serious about making money online. Period).
The great thing about both these programs is their product is useful for virtually every niche. You simply have to provide compelling reasons why someone should consider them…and then offer a followup with helpful suggestions as well.
A good way to find 2 tier affiliate programs is to search online like so:
Carefully and methodically check out what’s returned…and then see if you can honestly recommend the program (you never want to compromise on your standards). Who knows…it might be the money-maker for which you’ve been searching!
