Autoresponder

By far, the most critical tool you simply MUST have as an affiliate is an autoresponder. It can be used for so many marketing and make money applications, the mind reels!

You can see examples of them everywhere you go.

With autoresponders, you can:

Set up a weekly newsletter that you can pre-populate with 52 weeks of content and put it on autopilot. I do that myself at the Affiliate Brainery Newsletter over here. (the tool to pre-populate content can be found at Instant Niche eMails here).
Deliver a 7 Day Followup to convince people to try a product. For example, let’s say that there’s a $97 affiliate product that’s perfect for your niche - you can craft a 7 day series that shows all the great benefits/solutions smart customers will receive by investing in it. And because each email will have your cloaked affiliate link, once the reader is intrigued and buys….YOU get the commission.
Run a contest. Contests are big things on the Internet these days…and you can use your own autoresponder to collect the names and then send out a winner’s notification
Create customer care followups. Ever buy a product online and then over the course of the next few weeks, receive followup emails with ideas for using the item? That was accomplished by an autoresponder series too! (You can learn more about this over Get More Done Faster - an excellent ebook!).
Build your list. Autoresponders are the powerhouse backends of list building! When you build your list, you’re increasing your reach to more customers and developing a trust relationship with them. Ergo, you’ll have more opportunitites to recommend targeted affiliate products and see people buy.
